LOGAN RESERVE FAD CHEER & DANCE STUDIO

Hi I am Catherine Moane, Studio Director of the FAD Logan West Dance Studios.

I am an experienced FAD Cheer & Dance Instructor and IASF accredited Cheerleading Coach. With a wealth of industry knowledge spanning over 30 years, my job as Studio Director has given me the opportunity to give back what I have learnt throughout my career, and what I love so much about the world of dance and cheerleading.

I took my first dance class at the age of three and since then the love of dance has become my passion. As a dance student in Sydney, I competed in eisteddfods and completed examinations in FATD Jazz, Tap and Modern as well as RAD Ballet Advance with Honours. I competed in the prestigious Prix de Lausanne at the age of sixteen before graduation from the Australian Ballet School with a Diploma of Dance. Throughout my career, I have danced professionally on world stages in all genres both independently and as a member of The Dancers Company and Singapore Dance Theatre.

The teaching aspect of my life blossomed abroad when my husband and I owned and operated our own dance school in the Philippines for many years. My work teaching has also led me to be a guest and freelance teacher in Hong Kong, the Philippines and Australia. My Staff and I strive to develop the confidence, technique, performance and presentation skills of all our students in a safe, nurturing and friendly environment. My wonderful dance instructors, cheer coaches and I are dedicated to making every students experience fun and positive. Our programs will always be of exceptional quality and we as a team are committed to continual professional development.

This year will be the 12th year I have been operating FAD Cheer & Dance Studios with locations of Cheer and Dance classes at Coomera, Pacific Pines, Nerang and Worongary.

Many of the people I call my friends are my inspirational teachers, admirable colleges and mentors, all of which have had some hand in making me the person I am today. I am honoured to be a part of the FAD team and I feel I have now come full circle from student to Studio Director, inspiring and mentoring young dancers and students.
